Traffic and demand

How much traffic do they actually get, and from where?

Visits, bounce, pages per visit and the channel mix. Including the one number your own analytics cannot show you: how many people arrive after an AI answer.

See their traffic
Worked example, 2026-07

4,531,469 visits in a month, up 9% on the month before.

45% arrives from search, 24% types them in directly. 0.7% arrives from an AI assistant.

Scale first, then the mix

Knowing a competitor is four times your size changes which fights are worth picking. Knowing that three quarters of their traffic is direct changes it again: that is a brand you cannot outbid, only outlast. The mix is the part that tells you what to do.

Modelled from panel data. Direction is reliable, the exact figure is not.

The channel that did not exist two years ago

Every other tool tells you how visible a brand is inside AI answers. This tells you whether that visibility produced a visit. The two are not the same, and the gap between them is one of the few genuinely new things to measure right now.

What this does not do

These are estimates from a traffic panel, not their analytics. Treat the scale as approximate and the trend as the signal.

Small sites are modelled worst. Below roughly ten thousand visits a month, the numbers get noisy enough that we would rather you ignored them.

A month-over-month move under a few percent is inside the model's own error bar and means nothing.

Questions we get

Are these numbers measured or estimated?
Estimated, and the page says so on every figure. Nobody outside a company can measure its traffic; panel and clickstream models are the best available, and they are good at direction and rough scale rather than at exact counts. Track the month-over-month move, not the absolute number.
Why does the AI assistant share matter more than it looks?
It is the only number in the whole product that shows the click AFTER an AI answer. Everything else we measure about AI is presence inside the answer. This is whether presence turned into a visit.
How often does it update?
Weekly, alongside everything else. The underlying panel data is monthly, so the interesting column is the month-over-month change rather than the week's figure.
