A creator who appears in a brand's ads three times in six weeks is not a fan. That is a contract.
That single distinction is most of what you need, and it is invisible if you look at any one platform on its own. On TikTok they look organic. In the ad library they look like an ad. Put the two next to each other and the relationship shows up immediately.
So we cross four sources we already collect: their paid ads, their TikTok, their organic Instagram, and the mentions people post about them. No new scraping, no extra cost, just reading files that already exist.
Then we ask four questions.
Who repeats. Same handle turning up across paid and organic is the tell.
Who is exclusive. If a creator appears with one brand in the category and nobody else, that is either an exclusivity clause or a genuine preference, and both are useful to know before you approach them.
Who crosses into the winners. This is the one I would build a whole outreach list from. We already know which ads have been running longest, and an ad still live after 30 days is one they are deliberately keeping up. A creator whose face is in those ads is a creator who converts, verified with the competitor's own budget.
And who moved. New collaborations since the last run, and the ones that stopped. A creator who was in four ads and is now in none either got expensive, got a better offer, or fell out. Any of those is a reason to send a message this week.
You are getting the results of somebody else's creator testing programme, and they paid for it.
What we cannot give you is audience quality. Follower counts, fake follower rates, audience demographics: none of that is here, and if you are deciding on a large budget you should still run those checks properly with a tool built for it. What we tell you is which creators a competitor keeps paying, which is a different and in my experience more predictive signal than a clean audience report.
One thing to do next: open your competitor's ad library and write down every face that appears more than once.
That list is more useful than any influencer database you can buy, because it has already been tested.
