Ad intelligence

An ad that has run for months is a test they already paid for.

We pull their live ads every week and measure what survives. Not a swipe file you scroll, but the pattern underneath: which hooks repeat, what runs longest, and where the traffic lands.

Worked example, 2026-08-24

6,774 live ads. 71 days average lifespan. 18% carry a discount.

One public consumer brand, one weekly run.

Longevity is the only honest scoreboard

Nobody outside the account sees the results. But nobody keeps paying for an ad that loses. Time live is the one signal you can read from the outside that they cannot fake, and it is the one most swipe files throw away.

The lines they keep buying

A hook that appears once is a test. A hook that appears dozens of times is a conclusion.

Where the money actually lands

Creative gets the attention, but the destination decides the conversion. This is the part almost nobody checks, and it is often where the copyable idea is.

What this does not do

We read public ad libraries. We cannot see spend, impressions, click-through or return, and any tool that claims to know those from the outside is modelling, not measuring.

Ad libraries show what is live now, not what was quietly killed last month. A short-lived ad is missing from the record, so read longevity as a floor.

Questions we get

How many of their ads do you see?
We count all of them, then read a sample in detail. The count comes from the ad library's own counter, so one brand we track runs 5,796 live ads, not the 50 we analyse. Any tool that reports its own collection limit as the competitor's ad count is reporting its settings, not their spending.
Can you see what they spend?
No, and nobody outside the account can. Meta does not report spend for commercial ads. We model a range from live ads and a CPM band, label it an estimate, and anchor it in real EU reach where the DSA data exists. A tool that shows you a precise spend figure has invented it.
Why does ad lifespan matter more than ad count?
Nobody keeps paying for an ad that loses. Time live is the one outcome signal readable from outside. On one brand, image ads with no offer ran a median of 60 days while video ads with a discount lasted 39 — same brand, same week, same budget.
