Frameworks

The template is free. The evidence is the work.

Everyone has done a SWOT in a workshop and never opened it again, because a blank grid asks you for the very thing you were missing. These fourteen arrive filled in from the week's data on a real competitor, and every cell links back to the page or the number it came from.

A framework cannot invent a fact. Where we have no data for a cell, it says so instead of guessing. An empty cell in a positioning map is information; a plausible sentence in it is not.

These are aids to a decision, not the decision. They arrange what is known so the argument is visible. The judgement is still yours, and the frameworks are built so you can disagree with a specific number rather than with a vibe.

Questions we get

Do I have to fill these in myself?
No. That is the whole point. A SWOT template is free everywhere and useless everywhere, because the work is not the grid, it is the evidence. Each of these arrives already filled in from the week's data, with every cell linked back to where the number came from.
Are these just slides?
They are pages, and each number in them is clickable. If a cell says their entry price is $23.95, the link goes to the product page that says so. A framework you cannot check is a decoration.
Which one should I look at first?
The gap analysis, because it ranks where the distance is widest instead of asking you to eyeball a grid. The positioning map is the one people ask for by name, and it reads better once you know which gap matters.
